A heavily modified version of the MINI Countryman All4, made by the German tuning presence X-Raid, has just won the 2012 Dakar Rally, proving that it’s faster and healthier both off-road and on-road than many more vehicles. The award winning modified MINI Countryman has been driven by Dakar championship Stephane Peterhansel and his co-driver, Jean-Paul Cottret, who have started the actuality on New Year’s Day in Mar del Plata, Argentina, and finished in Lima in Peru on January 15, 2012.

According to the creators of the MINI Countryman All4, tuning assembly X-Raid, the vehicle is powered by a 3.0 liter twin turbocharged diesel locomotive, which is developing a total output of 311 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 516 lb-ft. Power is being sent to all four wheels through a six-help sequential transmission. The model is also coming with a custom made rollcage ,a new discontinuing system and other features like the water-cooled rear brakes and the 420-litre combustible tank. The MINI Countryman All4 is 4.333 mm long, 1.966 mm far-fetched and 1.988 mm wide, being actually 236 mm longer, 405 mm taller and 200 mm wider than the benchmark vehicle.
