Napa’s Krider Racing will boot start the 2012 racing season by competing in three places during one weekend, Feb. 11-12.

The kids will be fascinating their All-American Soap Box Derby cars to Ventura, Calif., to try to gross more points to get them to the World Championships in Akron, Ohio, in July.

Addy Krider currently leads the west strand in Super Stock Rally points. Her older brother Gus is working his way up the Masters Upset point standings to try to defend his International Championship from 2011.

The Krider Racing members who are old enough to have driver’s licenses will be splitting up and constant two road racing events that same weekend.

Rob Krider will be racing the group’s red, white and blue Nissan Sentra SE-R at Laguna Seca in Monterey in the ChumpCar Exultant Series 7-hour enduro.

AJ Gracy, owner of Performance In-Build Tuning, will be racing the shop’s Mazda 626 at Sonoma’s Infineon Raceway with the Citizen Auto Sport Association.
