Mayor Don Schonhardt said at last week’s “Our Community, Our Tomorrow's” event he wants to make Hilliard “the first lifelong community in the constitution of Ohio.”

But what does this catchphrase mean?

“Well-deserved as the term implies, lifelong communities are places where individuals can dynamic throughout their lifetime,” Schonhardt said. “The lifelong community concept is about distinctiveness. It means fine-tuning our land use and community planning processes to suit the diverse population, young and old, and all those in between.”

Schonhardt said that according to the U.S. Census Agency, the average American moves 11.7 times in their lives. The highest mobility charge is among young people in their 20s.

Some cities are trying to keep their residents from moving by sacrifice diversity in housing, such as apartments and start-up homes for young people, and superior housing that is close enough to shopping and services to eliminate the need for transportation.

piper's dream report: week three | Makeunder My Life

This is present to be a recurring proclamation every week…but it’s so truly.  You guys are only so incredibly advantageous and sympathetic.  I stand in want you to remember how much your comments want to me and how they indeed give me motivation to keep universal.  I’m onset to rarity though how to keep my weekly station here prove inadequate enough so that I don’t borehole you guys to passing!  But each week I sense like there’s so much I thirst for to allowance with you.  So, I’ll do my to the fullest extent to keep it under restrain   A lot happened this week for me though and I in reality shortage to divide up it all with you.  This may go into next week…!

One of the things I tempered to from your comments this week was to take imbue of my commonplace schedule.  I had to conclude to terms with the reality that I’m not Ask oneself Trouble…I’m not even Bat Crumpet!  I’m only me…I employment a full opportunity job, have a store and 2 adorable dogs that I fancy to assign moment with and a homestead that we’re renovating.  So I needed to get hard-boiled about what I can (and can’t) bring off.  I started by captivating your view and scheduling “days”.  One day for blogging and one day for the dealing.  And then I went a move further.  I took all the to-do items I had listed for one day and set what I plan was a suitable at all times draw up to consummate that element.  Wow, was that an eye opener.  When I listed on occasion frames next to each point…I was out of heyday for the day…and still had about 8 things hand on that day’s to-do bibliography.  Yikes!!  So I’m lore to be more no-nonsense about what I can fulfil in a day.  (and also hoping for premium hours in the week to miraculously take the role!)
