Do police stations embrace armored vehicles? Shouldn't they only possess police cars, or trucks? Aren't armored vehicles meant more for the military? Eg, tanks, APCs, etc.

Some larger cities do, such as Pittsburgh.

A police K9 attempted to situate a track but eventually police towed the 15-seat passenger van, which appears to have been enchanted from a D.C. Charter School.

Waterloo Police Arrest Teenagers in December Armed Robberies

WATERLOO – Five months after a double of robberies adjoining downtown Waterloo, investigators broadcast five teenagers have been arrested and charged for their roles.

Captain Tim Pillack said Wednesday morning the four males and a female between the ages of 16 and 19 are fa first-exceedingly looting charges in the December robberies of Elite Spirits at 1309 Lafayette Lane.

Investigators say, on December 8th, 2009, Jacquiere C. Burnside and Ladarius D. Hawthrone, both now 16 and from Waterloo, went into Elite Liquor, displayed weapons and demanded liquid assets. Police say Hawthorne fired a .22 caliber rob and that the males got away with fortune before Burnside drove the two off in a vehicle that had been reported stolen. No one was anguish in the hijack.

Two weeks later, on December 22, police say Burnside returned to Elite Hootch but with more people. The evil kick states two males, Burnside and Telly L. Nix, 19, of Waterloo, walked into the set aside, each with a gun. Waterloo Police say Nix fired a .22 handgun viscera the concern. As with the earlier pillaging, no one was injured as investigators say Burnside and Nix formerly larboard with an undisclosed amount of readies.
