What kind of car is Lightning McQueen in real life??

Lightning McQueen is like a Plan Intrepid on front but in the movie his sideview is like an old Corvette. The back is sorta much like a Trick Intrepid too, but its a little designed. But the whole body is combined on american cars.

It is whatever your eye beholds it as... the car takes on the display of the older racing prototypes out of the 50's and
60's..... ie...
